This was the first taste of competitive football most these lads had experienced. It was very much a learning curve for all of us. The main focus was on enjoying the football and learning to play as a team. Results were not as important as the way the lads bonded. In that respect it was a successful season. Results were not what we had hoped for but that did not matter. That year Dylan won 'Managers Player of the year' for his excellent displays in goal, Joe won 'Players Player of the year', James won 'Most Improved Player' for the way he developed as a player and Levi won 'Clubman of the year' for his attitude and dedication.
