1.0 AIMS

1.1 The Club shall be known as OAKENGATES RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB.

1.2 The teams shall compete in the Telford Junior Youth league, and or any other league and cup competition as deemed appropriate.

1.3 Their individual sponsor will choose the team colours.


2.0 MEMBERSHIP

2.1 Members of the club must be within the age limit for that particular age group as defined by the League.

2.2 There will be a membership from a minimum of five - nine years and an upper age of eighteen years for the club.

2.3 Maximum registration of each age group shall be in accordance with the League rules for the competing group.

2.4 A player registered with the club must reside within fifteen miles radius (as the crow flies) of the headquarters of the club. The headquarters of the club can only be changed at the end of one season and prior to the commencement of the next season. Signing on forms to number eighteen for eleven a side and twelve for seven a side, extra forms available at a cost of 20p each.



3.0 MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

3.1 The Management committee shall consist of a maximum of eighteen elected officers.

3.2 The Management Committee shall comprise as a minimum, CHAIRPERSON, VICE CHAIRPERSON, SECRETARY, ASSISTANT SECRETARY AND THE TREASURER, a MANAGER from each group will also be part of the Management Committee.

IF A MANAGER FROM ANY OF AGE GROUP CANNOT ATTEND A MEETING AT ANY GIVEN TIME HE MUST ELECT A REPRESENTATIVE TO ATTEND IN HIS PLACE (ASSISTANT MANAGER / TRAINER)

3.3 For any meeting the quorum shall be eight including at least one officer of the club.

3.4 In the event of an emergency meeting being called, the quorum shall be six to include 5 officers of the club and any other Managers.

3.5 ALL OFFICERS OF THE ABOVE NAMED CLUB ARE UNPAID AND VOLUNTARY



4.0 MEETINGS

4.1 The Management Committee shall meet monthly and / or when required.

4.2 The Secretary and / or nominated deputy shall attend all League meetings.



5.0 CLUB AWARDS

5.1 The Management Committee shall decide the Club Awards each season.



6.0 SUBSCRIPTIONS

6.1 ALL LEAGUE REGISTERED PLAYERS WILL PAY A WEEKLY SUBSCRIPTION OF £2.00 TRAINING SESSION/FIXTURE REGARDLESS. THERE IS ALSO AN OPTION OF PAYING AN ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION TO BE DETERMINED BY THE COMMITTEE.

6.2 ALL SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL BE RECORDED IN A TEAM REGISTER BY THEIR MANAGER AND WILL BE HANDED IN TO THE SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING TO BE RECORDED IN THE CLUB ACCOUNTS.

6.3 SUBSCRIPTIONS AS APPLICABLE WILL BE PAYABLE FOR ALL SUPPLEMENTARY COMPETITIONS



6.4 ANY PLAYER WHO OWES MORE THAN THREE WEEKS SUBSCRIPTIONS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY UNTIL THE AMOUNT OWING IS CLEARED


6.5 YOUTH LEAGUE PLAYERS WILL PAY A SIGNING ON FEE OF £10 AND A MATCHDAY FEE OF £3.



7.0 BEHAVIOR

7.1 PLAYERS:- Players registered with the club are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsman like manner at all times and do so in terms of insubordination, dangerous or violent misbehavior, insulting or abusive language, spitting or arguing with a fellow team player or any infringement of the club rules will not be tolerated and will be dealt with in accordance with the grievance procedures.

7.2 MANAGERS:- Managers, Assistants, Trainers, Committee members and other personnel called to assist in the management of the club teams shall always lead by example. It is essential that the children are managed in line with respect for club rules, the governing rules of the League and the spirit of the game is promoted and honored. Poor gamesmanship the use of offensive, insulting or abusive language shall be forbidden.

A complaints procedure shall deal with all / any complaints, (which must be in writing to the club secretary within seven days of the alleged offense), to monitor the Conduct of the Club Managers and Associates in accordance with Grievance Procedure.

7.3 Spectators and parents:- are expected to conduct themselves in the spirit and manner that the players and Managers are held to.



8.0 GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE

8.1 Players:- Infringement of the club rules, misconduct, misbehavior shall be dealt with at first verbally and then in writing by the Managers. All appeals are to be dealt with by the Committee.

8.2 MANAGERS:- Any / all complaints received in writing within 72 hours.

8.3 DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE

The following actions will be taken in the event of disciplinary action being necessary.

a. A verbal warning
b. A written warning
c. The individual will be expelled by the Committee. In the event of any incidence of misconduct the individual concerned will be suspended from the club ending a full investigation.



9.0 TRAINING

9.1 ANY PLAYER WHO CANNOT ATTEND TRAINING OR A MATCH MUST GIVE THEIR MANAGER OR TRAINING ASSISTANT AT LEAST 24 HOURS NOTICE WHERE POSSIBLE PRIOR TO THE TRAINING OR MATCH.

9.2 ANY PLAYER MISSING A TRAINING SESSION WITHOUT GIVING GOOD REASON WILL BE SUBSTITUTED OR EVEN DROPPED FROM THE TEAM FOR ONE WEEK.

9.3 THE CLUB CANNOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR TRANSPORTATION OF THE PLAYERS EITHER TO THE STATED MEETING PLACE OR ANY CLUB ACTIVITY. THE ONUS IS ON THE PARENTS TO ENSURE THE SAFE TRANSPORTATION OF THEIR CHILD.



10.0 CLUB AND PLAYERS EQUIPMENT

10.1 Players football boots must be cleaned each week and checked for defective studs.

10.2 Damage to club equipment through neglect, abuse or general tomfoolery, or loss due to the same, must be replaced / aid for by the individual concerned.

10.3 CHANGING ROOMS

After a game:- Due to the refurbishment of the changing rooms, dirty boots will NOT BE PERMITTED inside the changing rooms. It is the managers responsibility to check and clean the changing rooms after every game even if a team is following on. A club official will check to see this rule is adhered to. Any team found to be abusing this rule will be fined. A Manager/Official of the club must be in the changing rooms whilst a team is using the changing rooms.



Managers:-

MUST SECURE THE CHANGING ROOMS WHILST TEAMS ARE PLAYING OR WHEN FINISHED WITH. NO PLAYER MAY ENTER THE CHANGING ROOM UNLESS UNDER STRICT SUPERVISION.
